  1. I think you’re right, the content farms will suffer as writers/content creators begin to get credit for making content that users actually want to read.

    The rel=author tag may also give writers a bit of statistical leverage to set the rates they want for their work, by helping them show how popular their copy is on Google.

    Now, as soon as Google can parse the popular writing that’s ALSO good writing, we’ll be all set!
